The London nightclub scene suffered a body blow when Caf de Paris permanently closed after nearly 100 years in December 2024. Opened in 1924, it was struck by a bomb during a show in March 1941, killing 34 people.

Paris Caf opened its doors in 1873 but was forced to close its doors in 2024 because of the COVID-19 pandemic and after going through renovations, reopened in November 2024. We're celebrating 150 years in New York,  Kendall Fries, marketing director for The Paris Caf, told amNewYork Metro.
